2. Select ‘Copy’

How to reply to a message

First Method:

1. While in a chat thread long press on a message
2. Compose a message and hit the send button

Second Method:

1. While in a chat thread swipe to the right on a message
2. Compose a message and hit the send button

How to forward a message

1. While in a chat thread long press on a message
2. Select ‘Forward’ and this will open the ‘Select Contact’ screen
3. Click on the user you would like to forward the message to
4. You are now redirected to the chat with the selected user and the forwarded message has been sent

How to share a message

1. While in a chat thread long press on a message
2. Select ‘Share’ and this will open the iOS options
3. Select the option you would like from the iOS options

How to edit a message

Note: This can only be done within 10 minutes of the text being sent

1. While in a chat thread long press on a message
2. Select ‘Edit’ and compose the edited message you would like to send
3. When completed, tap the arrow button

How to Star a Message

You can star messages that are important so you can easily see them later.

1. Long press a message and tap Star
2. To see your starred messages, tap the hamburger menu in the top right of the Project or Chat you are in and tap Starred Messages

How to mute a Chat

You can mute chats to stop receiving notifications when participants send or react to messages.

1. Long press a Chat thread
2. Tap Mute Chat

To unmute the chat, repeat the same steps, then tap Unmute Chat

How to delete a message you sent

1. While in a chat thread, long press on a message
2. Select ‘Delete’ and this will allow you select what messages you would like to delete
3. Select messages by clicking on the circle on the far left side and once a message is selected the circle will be filled in blue
4. Once all the messages you want are selected then click on the ‘Delete’ button on the bottom left corner

Note: There is also an option to ‘Cancel’ on the bottom right side

How to view a message’s information

1. While in a chat thread swipe left on a message
2. You will see a message info screen that displays:
   • ‘Read by’ - If the person read the message and if so, when
   • ‘Reactions’ - If someone left a reaction

How to view a message in reading mode

1. While in a chat thread, double-tap on a message
2. Select ‘Reading Mode’ and this will open a popup with the selected message in focus
3. Clicking on the screen will close the popup and return to the chat screen

How to translate a message

1. While in a chat thread, long press on a message recieved
2. Select ‘Translate’ and you should then see the message translated to the language your phone is set to

Note: if you change the language of your device before trying to translate a message, you will have to restart FYI for the new language to take effect.
