Welcome to the FYI Glossary! Here we will break down the basic interface of the app.

 

Navigation Bar

There are four main tabs in FYI:

Contacts

A Contact Card

Contact cards allow you to quickly reach out to that person, check out their pinned projects, or look at documents and media you've shared with each other.

Chat

  4. 1:1 chat

 

Long Press Menu

  1. 1:1 Chat
  2. Long Press Menu: mute chat, pin chat, leave chat

Note: you can also reach this menu by swiping left on the 1:1 chat

 

Context Menu

This menu allows you to make new chats, group chats, chats with the Smart Personas, or invite your contacts to join FYI.

Text Edit Screen

Media Options

These are the media options to add to a Project. This is a list of the different media options you have to add to a Project.

Project Files

Insert a file that has been previously add to the Project.
Media Gallery

Upload photos and videos individually or in a Batch. You can select up to 8 items at a time.
Audio

Add audio files stored in your phone's files.
Document

Add a document (PDF, Word, Excel, etc...) stored in your phone's files.
Design

Use the Design feature to add a custom image to your Project.

Text

Add a block of text to your Project.
Link

A button that opens a preview of the inserted webpage in FYI's browser.
Project

A link to another FYI project.
New Event A project-specific calendar event. This is not visible in your Project.
