How do I delete my account?

To delete your FYI account, please follow the steps below. Deleting your account will permanently delete all content from your chats and projects, and is irreversible. 

If you choose to sign up for an account again using the same phone number, it will be treated as a brand new account.

To delete your account:

1. Navigate to your profile.
2. Tap on settings.
3. Scroll down and tap 'Delete account.'
4. Enter your passcode when prompted.
5. If you have no groups or projects, skip steps 6-12.
6. If you have group chats and projects. you will need to first delete them individually or transfer ownership. Tap 'My Groups' or 'My Projects.'
7. Select one group or project to delete.
8. Tap the 'Delete Group' or 'Delete Project' button.
9. Select 'Delete Chat' or 'Delete Project.'
10. Repeat these steps until you have no group chats or projects remaining.
11. Tap 'Delete account.'
12. Enter your passcode when prompted.
13. Select 'Confirm Deletion.'
