How do I delete my account?

Deleting your account will permanently remove all content from your chats and projects which is irreversible. If you sign up again using the same phone number, it will be treated as a completely new account.

To delete your account:

1. Navigate to the Profile tab.
2. Tap 'Settings.'
3. Scroll down and tap 'Delete account.'
4. Enter your passcode when prompted.
5. If you have no groups or projects, select 'Confirm Deletion'.

If you have Groups or Projects: 

You’ll need to either delete them individually or transfer ownership.

1. Tap 'My Groups' or 'My Projects.'
2. Select one group or project.
3. Tap the 'Delete Group' or 'Delete Project' button.
4. Select 'Delete Chat' or 'Delete Project.'
5. Repeat these steps until you have no group chats or projects remaining.
6. Tap 'Delete account.'
7. Enter your passcode when prompted.
8. Select 'Confirm Deletion.'
