- .doc
- .pptx

-

- Copying and pasting files from 'My Files' to FYI is not supported on Android.
- File preview is not supported on Android when sharing media files from outside FYI to FYI.
Onboarding:

This includes logging into FYI after reinstalling the app and logging into FYI on another Android device even with the same google account.
Android Features:
- FYI doesn't support Android's split screen multi-tasking feature. This feature allows Android users to have two apps displayed simultaneously.

Differences Between Android and iOS:
File Uploading:
- Uploading large files including photos, videos, documents, and MP3s typically load much slower on Android compared to iOS.
Transcription Permission:
- Android does not require a speech recognition permission for transcription, unlike on iOS.
Clearing Cache:
- Android users can clear the cache of FYI under FYI's storage settings, while iOS users have to delete the app to clear the cache. For more details visit this article.
One Time Passcode (OTP) Fill in:
- During the login process, Android autofills the OTP if the FYI user's default SMS app supports verification code autofill. However, this feature doesn't work on Google Voice. On iOS, users have to manually enter the OTP.
Media Sharing:
- On Android, sharing files through the Media Gallery directs FYI users to their downloads folder instead of the default photo gallery app. On iOS, sharing files through Media Gallery directs FYI users to the 'Photos' app.
