UI freezes during swipe

Problem:

The UI freezes when you swipe and exit the app.

Steps:

1. User is in a 1-1 chat.
2. Swipe left and stop halfway. Without lifting your finger, exit the app.
3. Re-open the app.

The UI is stuck in the mid-swipe animation.

Workaround:

Force quit the app and re-open the app.
