Scrambled UI after force closing FYI in Do not Disturb mode

Problem:

If users enable Do not Disturb mode, force close the app, and receive a missed call on their Lock Screen, then the user's UI is scrambled.

  1. Enable Do not Disturb mode
  2. Turn OFF the following settings (if available):
    • Show on Lock Screen
    • Dim Lock Screen
    • Hide Notification Badges
    • Allow Repeated Calls
  3. Force close FYI and lock device
  4. User receives a missed call
  5. Open FYI

When you open FYI, the UI is scrambled. Instead of the seeing contact names next to the chat thread, user's see scrambled blocks. This is a problem with the framework FYI uses to develop the app. 

 

Workaround:

Force quit the app when you encounter this issue
