How to add AI to Chats and Projects

To add a Smart Persona to a 1:1 chat

1. Navigate to the Chats screen and tap on desired 1:1 chat.
2. Tap on the username at the top of the screen and scroll down to "Add FYI.AI CoPilot" and tap
3. Read the FYI.AI agreement and tap "Continue"

To remove the Persona

1. Navigate to the Chats screen and tap on the 1:1 chat with FYI.AI 
2. Tap on the username at the top of the screen and scroll down to "Remove FYI.AI CoPilot" and tap

Group Chats

To add a Smart Persona to a group chat, you can follow the Managing Participants steps in the article link below. Instead of adding a Contact, under the BOTS category, select the Smart Persona you would like to add to your chat.

To remove the Persona

1. Tap the Group's title 
2. Scroll to "Participants in the Group"
3. Tap the 3 dots next to the Smart Persona's name
4. Tap Remove

Whenever you add or remove a Smart Persona from a chat, the participants will see the update message in the chat, that AI was added or removed.

Projects

To add a Smart Persona to your Project, you can follow the steps in the article link below. Instead of adding a Contact, under the BOTS category, select the Smart Persona you would like to add to your Project.

To remove the Smart Persona

1. Open the hamburger menu 
2. Scroll to editors 
3. Tap the 3 dots next to the Smart Persona's name 
4. Tap Remove

Whenever you add or remove a Smart Persona from a Project, all users will be notified and there will be an entry under the Project's Updates tab.
