Direct Chat Privacy Features

FYI provides 2 security features to ensure the privacy of our users in their direct chat messages:

1. Screen Security

2. Block Copy, Forward, Sharing.

(I) Screen Security:

Screen Security prevents users from taking screenshots or screen recordings of text and media shared in direct messages.

To enable screen security for ALL 1-1 chats:

1. Navigate to the Profile tab.
2. Tap "Settings" and scroll to "Screen Security"
3. Toggle ON "Screen Security" and tap "Confirm".

To enable screen security for SPECIFIC contacts:

1. Navigate to the Contacts Tab.
2. Select a contact.
3. Scroll to the bottom of their contact details page and toggle ON "Screen Security".
4. Tap "Confirm" when prompted.

(II) Block Copy, Forward, Sharing:

Block Copy, Forward, and Sharing prevents users from copying, forwarding, or sharing text and media in your direct messages.

To enable block copy, forward, and sharing for ALL 1-1 chats:

1. Navigate to the Profile tab.
2. Tap "Settings" and scroll to "Block Copy, Forward, Sharing"
3. Toggle ON "Screen Security" and tap "Confirm".

To enable block copy, forward, and sharing for SPECIFIC contacts:

1. Navigate to the Contacts Tab.
2. Select a contact.
3. Scroll to the bottom of their contact details page and toggle ON "Block Copy, Forward, Sharing".
4. Tap "Confirm" when prompted.
