There are a couple of things you can try:
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection. If not, try toggling your Wi-Fi.
- Force quit FYI and try joining again.
- Clear the cache for FYI using this crash guide article.
- Make sure you are on the latest build of FYI. If not, try updating the app.
